Privacy policy

Last updated: May 2026

*This policy is in effect during the private beta period. A lawyer-reviewed version will be published at general availability.*

1. Introduction

LEXI Platform (“LEXI”, “we”, “our”) operates lexiplatform.com and app.lexiplatform.com. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our website or use our platform.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and company name.

Trade documents. Purchase orders, proforma invoices, and other trade documents you upload to generate document bundles.

Usage data. Pages visited, features used, and browser/device information collected for analytics and product improvement.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide the platform (document generation, shipment tracking), to improve the service, and to communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data storage and security

Data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols. Your documents are held in private cloud storage that is not publicly accessible, and access is restricted to authorised LEXI personnel. Within your own account, you control which of your colleagues can see what, through the roles you assign them.

5. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@lexiplatform.com.

6. Third-party services

We use third-party providers for infrastructure such as cloud hosting, email delivery and analytics. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies.

Document processing. To read the documents you upload and extract their contents, we send them to a third-party AI service for processing. This is how LEXI reads a purchase order instead of asking you to retype it. We do not sell your documents, and we do not provide them to anyone for their own commercial use.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication and minimal analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some platform features may not function without them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the platform.

9. Contact
